"Afsked" is danish for parting. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Farewell is inspired by the joy of anticipation when you say goodbye to someone you care about. The excitement and love you can carry with you while you miss and look forward to reuniting.
 
The image varies in detail and some parts are kept almost abstract in expression. Other areas have a naturalistic touch, and the interplay between these keeps the image exciting for the viewer time and time again. The pale pink works well in any interior where the motif can create calm atmosphere while adding a touch of color.
 
  • The motif is painted with acrylic by artist Amalie Kvistgaard.
  • The motif is printed on 210 gram matte quality paper on a 12-color plotter which gives a unique color reproduction.
